Our team develops photon-counting detector technology, one of the most advanced and rapidly evolving areas of X-ray imaging. We are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer who wants to take ownership of the mechanical design of next-generation imaging products. You will work across the full product lifecycle, from concept development through to production, collaborating closely with experts in electronics, systems, manufacturing, and product management. In this role you will be a key player within our R&D organization and will take an active part in shaping our future products and technical solutions.
The position is permanent, located in Espoo, Finland, and employment can begin immediately or as soon as a suitable candidate is found. We follow a hybrid working model, which involves regular on-site collaboration in Espoo.
As a Mechanical Engineer on our team, you will have the opportunity to work hands‑on with the development of our next-generation X-ray detectors - from requirements definition all the way to production handover and through to sustaining engineering. We are looking for an adaptive engineer who thrives at the center of complex cross‑functional programs, collaborating closely with electronics, systems, manufacturing, and product teams, and effectively balancing performance, cost, schedule, and manufacturability.
