Our team develops photon-counting detector technology, one of the most advanced and rapidly evolving areas of X-ray imaging. We are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer who wants to take ownership of the mechanical design of next-generation imaging products. You will work across the full product lifecycle, from concept development through to production, collaborating closely with experts in electronics, systems, manufacturing, and product management. In this role you will be a key player within our R&D organization and will take an active part in shaping our future products and technical solutions.

Design manufacturing jigs & fixtures for in-house production teams. Collaborate closely with electronics, firmware, systems, manufacturing, product, and program management teams. Work closely with procurement team to identify, assess, and qualify suppliers. Support prototyping, pilot builds and testing; iterate designs based on feedback from testing, manufacturing and customers.

  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks or a comparable 3D CAD platform.
  • Experience designing parts for a variety of manufacturing processes including CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication and additive manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate technical requirements across multidisciplinary teams in both onsite and remote environments.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Advantageous: Experience designing enclosures for electronics with high thermal loads, EMC considerations, and ingress protection requirements.
  • Understanding of thermal management techniques for electronics (convection, conduction, forced air, liquid cooling).
