Job summary

Neste in Finland is seeking a Senior Manager, Materials to lead the materials discipline within the Chief Engineering Competence Center. The role is based at Kilpilahti, Porvoo, or nearby locations, and involves guiding technical content, ensuring safe and efficient refinery operations, and collaborating with procurement, asset management, operations, and design engineers.

You bring a technical degree (B.Sc.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical degree in materials engineering or similar.
• 15+ years of industrial experience in materials engineering or management.
• Solid knowledge of material solutions in a refinery environment.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Act as the leading expert within the materials discipline in Neste.
• Responsible for correct technical content in frame agreements and close collaboration with procurement related to vendor selection within Neste.
• Owner of the technical specifications in Neste for the materials engineering discipline.
• Supporting refineries as the leading specialist of materials solutions in cooperation with design engineers and site personnel.
• Development and ownership of discipline technology best practices and benchmark them against the industry standards.
