Metsä Group in Espoo is seeking a Logistics Planning Manager to join our Logistics team in a fixed-term position until autumn 2027. You will develop and operate Group-wide logistics planning practices, turning business volume forecasts into capacity needs and translating S&OP plans into supplier forecasts.

Qualificações

• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain planning.
• Experience in logistics planning, ERP environments, data flows, reporting tools, MS Office and Power BI.
• Ability to work in a large matrix organisation with stakeholders across different areas.
• Excellent communication and networking skills; proactive and development-oriented mindset.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and operate Group-wide logistics planning practices across Metsä Group.
• Turn volume forecasts into logistics capacity needs and convert S&OP plans into supplier forecasts.
• Identify bottlenecks, secure planning accuracy and support reliable, competitive logistics operations.
• Lead logistics planning development initiatives, facilitate planning forums and represent Group Logistics in S&OP processes.
• Drive planning projects, monitor capacity against forecasts and address potential shortages.
