Job summary

Metsä Group is hiring a Logistics Planning Manager to join the Espoo team in a fixed-term role until autumn 2027. You will develop and operate group-wide logistics planning practices, translate forecasts into capacity and supplier delivery plans, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure transparent, accurate planning across the logistics network.

The role requires strong logistics and supply chain planning knowledge, ERP experience, data reporting skills, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain planning (S&OP, capacity planning, supplier collaboration).
• Experience with logistics planning, ERP environments, data flows and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and networking skills; ability to influence across organisational boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate group-wide logistics planning practices across Metsä Group.
• Transform forecasts into logistics capacity needs and supplier-specific delivery forecasts.
• Lead planning development initiatives, facilitate planning forums, and drive changes in the organisation.
