Job summary

Veho Group is seeking a law student for a part-time, fixed-term Legal Trainee position in Finland. The role offers hands-on learning across contract matters, data protection, compliance and more, under the supervision of the legal team.

The ideal candidate is an ongoing law student with accuracy, initiative, and strong collaboration skills, fluent in Finnish and English. Hybrid work is possible after onboarding; fully remote work is not allowed initially.

We are now looking for a law student to join us as a Legal Trainee for a fixed-term period of 3-6 months, depending on the starting date (preferably starting as soon as possible).

As a Legal Trainee at Veho, your tasks will include

You will assist the legal team with a variety of tasks. Your responsibilities will be tailored to your skills and interests. Your working day may include, for example:

• Contract matters

• Complaint and claim matters

• Translation work

• Legal questions and document handling

• Data protection matters

• Compliance matters

This is how you will succeed with us

We expect you to have:

• Ongoing legal studies (e.g. towards a Master of Laws or an equivalent degree)

• Accuracy, initiative, and good collaboration skills

• Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English

Previous experience in contract law, data protection, or another area of business law is considered an advantage.

Employment details

• Duration: fixed-term, 3-6 months depending on the starting date

• Working hours: part-time, 1-2 days per week

• Salary: in accordance with the recommendation of the Finnish Association of Lawyers (Juristiliitto) for students in trainee positions

• Location: At the beginning of the trainee period, you will work at our office at Tietotie 9, Vantaa. Once onboarding is complete and you are familiar with the team and your tasks, you may follow a hybrid working model. Please note that fully remote work is not possible.
