Job summary

VEO Group is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to strengthen our HR team in Vaasa, Finland. You will combine strategic recruitment with onboarding and mentoring to support employee success from day one.

The role requires building talent pipelines, collaborating with managers, and advancing employer branding to attract engineering, project and leadership talent across our international operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct search and candidate sourcing, preferably in technology, energy, electrification and/or automation segments.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to engage passive candidates and build long-term talent communities.
• Experience in developing HR processes, onboarding programs or talent development initiatives.
• Proactive, business-oriented and growth-minded attitude; fluent in Finnish and English.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, approach and attract top engineering, project and leadership talent.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines and networks.
• Develop recruitment strategies to support VEO's growth plans.
• Strengthen employer branding activities.
• Partner closely with hiring managers across the organization.
• Build co-operation with schools.
• Further develop and ensure efficient onboarding process and employee experience.
• Support managers in integrating new employees successfully.
• Develop and coordinate mentoring program and structured mentoring processes and tools.

Your key responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Headhunting

• Proactively identify, approach and attract top engineering, project and leadership talent
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines and networks

• Strengthen employer branding activities
• Partner closely with hiring managers across the organization

Onboarding development

• Further develop and ensure efficient and consistent onboarding process and employee experience
• Support managers in integrating new employees successfully

Mentoring & Talent development

• Develop and coordinate VEO's mentoring program
• Create structured mentoring processes and tools
• Support knowledge transfer, career development and leadership growth
• Promote a culture of learning, collaboration and continuous improvement

What we are looking for?

You may have a background in:

• Executive search / headhunting
• Recruitment consulting
• Talent acquisition and sourcing
• Organizational development

We hope you have:

• Proven experience in direct search and candidate sourcing preferable in technology, energy, electrification and/or automation segments
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills
• Ability to engage passive candidates and build long-term talent communities
• Experience in developing HR processes, onboarding programs or talent development initiatives
• A proactive, business-oriented and growth-minded attitude
• Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English (Swedish is a plus)
