Job summary

Veikkaus Group seeks a Lead Product Owner, Core Services, to shape and grow Core Services across Web Core Services, App Core Services and Design System, aligning with the Digital Channels’ long-term vision.

You will lead Product Owners for App Core Services, Web Core Services and Design System, own Regulatory and Compliance areas, and drive roadmaps in collaboration with UX, Tech and Data teams to deliver measurable improvements in our digital experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product ownership, product management or business analysis.
• Experience leading and developing Product Owners and product areas.
• Strong skills in product strategy, roadmap and backlog management.
• Experience with web and mobile products and digital customer experiences.
• Experience with regulatory/compliance requirements in a regulated industry.
• Strong understanding of agile delivery and customer journey optimization.
• Experience across business, product, UX, technology and data functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Digital Strategy, Product Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead Core Services product area in collaboration with Head of Product, App Core Services, Web Core Services and Design System.
• Coach and support Product Owners for App Core Services, Web Core Services and Design System.
• Own the Core Services roadmap and prioritize epics and goals.
• Oversee Regulatory and Compliance product areas and translate requirements into priorities.
• Manage product backlogs and balance short-term delivery with long-term strategy.
• Plan and coordinate launches and releases across Core Services.
• Define and prioritize Core Services requirements aligned with objectives and compliance.
• Translate complex business and regulatory needs into actionable epics and initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, UX, Tech, Data, Marketing and stakeholders.
• Monitor KPIs to drive improvements in core experiences and channel performance.
• Contribute to long-term evolution of Veikkaus’ digital channels.
• Represent Core Services in strategic forums and ensure clear alignment.
