Job summary

Veikkaus is hiring a Lead Product Owner, Core Services to shape and grow the digital channel core services across web and native apps. You will own the Core Services area and oversee design system, app and web capabilities while aligning with long-term product vision.

You will lead a team of Product Owners, manage regulatory priorities, and collaborate with Product, Marketing, UX, Tech and Data to deliver measurable improvements in core experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product ownership, product management or business analysis, preferably within digital and multi-platform products.
• Strong experience leading and developing product areas and/or Product Owners, with the ability to provide clear direction while enabling autonomy.
• Strong skills in product strategy, roadmap and backlog management, requirements translation and cross-functional coordination.
• Experience working with web and mobile products, with a strong understanding of digital customer experiences and platform capabilities.
• Experience working with regulatory, compliance or other complex business requirements, preferably in a highly regulated industry.
• Strong understanding of agile delivery practices and customer journey optimization.
• Experience working effectively across business, product, UX, technology and data functions.
• Experience in the iGaming industry is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Digital Strategy, Product Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Core Services product area, including App Core Services, Web Core Services and Design System, aligning with Digital Channels’ strategy.
• Coach and support Product Owners for their areas, ensuring prioritization and delivery.
• Own the Core Services roadmap, epics, and prioritization.
• Own Regulatory and Compliance product areas and translate requirements into priorities.
• Manage product backlogs and balance short-term delivery with long-term goals.
• Plan and coordinate product launches and releases across Core Services.
• Collaborate on defining Core Services requirements for app and web capabilities.
• Translate complex requirements into actionable epics and initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to meet business and regulatory goals.
• Monitor KPIs to drive improvements in core experiences.
• Contribute to long-term strategy for Veikkaus’ digital channels.
• Represent Core Services in strategic forums and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business, UX and tech teams for successful delivery.
