Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our Data Center Facilities team in the Nordics. You will help create data center cooling solutions across Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway, collaborating with global specialists to deliver cutting-edge infrastructure.

You will join a multicultural team and work in a flexible, hybrid model with offices, home and online collaboration. Strong communication and leadership are essential for guiding projects and mentoring colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience designing or constructing data center facilities.
• Experience working as a consulting mechanical engineer.
• Solid understanding of digital design delivery using Revit/BIM 360.
• Excellent communicator capable of explaining complex concepts to clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of data center cooling and HVAC infrastructure.
• Develop innovative thermal management solutions for AI, HPC, hyperscale and colocation facilities.
• Ensure cooling systems meet resilience, efficiency, sustainability and uptime targets.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring across multiple projects.
