Job summary

Greenstep, a Finland-based growth company, seeks a Lead Fabric / Data Platform Consultant to own architecture on client data platforms in a hybrid Finland role. You will drive platform decisions, guide engineering standards, and collaborate with data engineers and BI developers to deliver production-ready solutions.

You will work with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Databricks, dbt and Snowflake across engagements, mentoring teams and shaping practice delivery. Finnish language required for client work.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience delivering data platforms in consulting or client projects.
• Fluent with Microsoft Fabric and Azure core workloads.
• Deep experience with Databricks, dbt and Snowflake; can select the right platform mix.
• Strong Power BI modelling and DAX skills.
• Proficient Python / PySpark and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD for data workloads and Git integration.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture of client data platforms.
• Design and build on Fabric across Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory pipelines and Synapse Data Engineering.
• Lead Databricks, dbt and Snowflake work and migrations.
• Develop layered lakehouse and warehouse architectures with performance and cost focus.
• Build Power BI models and reusable DAX for trusted single sources of truth.
• Set engineering discipline: CI/CD, testing, observability and production readiness.
• Incorporate data governance, security and privacy from day one.
• Advise clients, run workshops and support sales with scoping and options.
