Job summary

Beneq is seeking a Process Development Manager to join its Advanced ALD Business Unit in Espoo, Finland. You will lead ALD process development activities for new and optimized thin-film processes, balancing hands-on lab work with team leadership in a globally focused setting.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or another relevant field.
• Strong understanding of ALD, thin film deposition, or related technologies.
• Hands-on experience in process development and experimental work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize ALD processes in laboratory and cleanroom environments.
• Lead process development projects for research ALD customers.
• Lead and support a small team of two Process Development Engineers and one Equipment Engineer.
• Coordinate project priorities, schedules, and resource planning.
• Conduct process characterization, analysis, and optimization activities.
• Maintain thorough process documentation, measurements, and reporting.
• Act as a technical contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement of process development methodologies and practices.
• Support development of new process capabilities and application areas.
