Job summary

Beneq Group Oy in Espoo, Finland, is seeking a Process Development Manager to lead ALD process development for advanced thin film solutions. You will blend hands-on lab work with leadership of two engineers, driving projects for semiconductor customers worldwide.

Standards include DoE-driven optimization, close collaboration with product management and engineering, and a focus on scalable process innovations in an international high-tech setting.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or related field
• Strong understanding of ALD, thin film deposition or related tech
• Hands-on experience in process development and experimental work
• Industry experience in thin film, vacuum coating, semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing
• Experience with statistical analysis, DoE and process optimization
• Familiarity with thin film characterization and measurement methods
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving
• Ability to work independently and across teams
• Excellent English communication and customer interaction skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize ALD processes in lab and cleanroom environments
• Lead process development projects for research ALD customers
• Supervise two Process Development Engineers and one Equipment Engineer
• Coordinate project priorities, schedules and resources
• Conduct process characterization, analysis and optimization
• Maintain thorough process documentation and reporting
• Act as technical contact for customers and internal stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement of development methodologies
• Support development of new process capabilities and applications
