Job summary

Beneq Group Oy is seeking a Process Development Engineer to join the TFS-series team and advance ALD thin-film technology in collaboration with research customers. The role focuses on designing and executing world-class ALD process development in a clean room, optimizing processes, managing projects, and documenting results for internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field.
• Deep understanding of ALD and thin-film deposition.
• Hands-on process development experience and DOE/statistical analysis.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and characterize films.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize ALD processes in a clean room.
• Lead process development projects and align with customer timelines.
• Document parameters, measurements, conclusions, and results.
• Serve as technical contact for customers and collaborate with product teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of development methodologies.
