Job summary

Veikkaus in Finland is hiring a Lead AI-Native Developer to drive the AI-native software engineering model. You will lead web engineering pods, write and review production code, and guide AI agents while staying hands-on with core stack (TypeScript, React, Astro, Node.js, AWS).

You'll set technical direction, mentor developers, and collaborate across teams in a hybrid Helsinki-based role with three on-site days per week. This is a chance to shape future delivery with AI-enabled tooling.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js and AWS.
• Practical experience with AI agent systems and multi-agent orchestration.
• Proven ability to develop complex features end-to-end in an agent-driven workflow.
• Ability to set technical direction and mentor developers in AI-native development.

Responsibilities

• Lead web engineering pods through an AI-native development model.
• Write and review production code and guide AI agents on implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Define work division between team members and AI agents, and maintain code quality.
• Mentor developers adapting to AI-native approaches and tooling.
