Job summary

Etteplan in Finland is seeking an AI Developer to join our team in Espoo or Tampere. This permanent position focuses on building AI solutions that work in our customers' processes and can run in production.

The role is tailored to your strengths, with opportunities to shape projects, whether you work more on orchestration or the operations side. We operate in hybrid mode and expect a strong on-site presence in Espoo or Tampere.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building LLM-based applications that reached production.
• Hands-on experience with agent frameworks and orchestration.
• Experience with AI/LLM APIs from several providers, including tool and function calling.
• Full-stack capability from UI to backend services and deployment.
• Docker and containers; CI/CD and monitoring.
• Familiarity with Azure and other cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Map customer processes into agentic workflows with decision and tool orchestration.
• Design and build tool-using agents for multi-step tasks and controlled autonomy.
• Build and maintain the integration layer and tool contracts, schemas, validation, and retries.
• Develop the user interface through to authentication and deployment pipelines.
• Deploy solutions on Azure, other clouds, or on-premises environments.
• Implement controls for data privacy and compliance in industrial contexts.
• Stay updated with AI tooling and production readiness.
