Job summary

RINA in Helsinki is seeking a Digital Marketing and Communication Intern to support the creation, publication and monitoring of digital marketing activities. You will help develop content for social media, newsletters, blogs and internal communications, while ensuring brand consistency.

You'll work with the Marketing & Communications Manager and external partners to enhance visibility, engagement and lead generation, gaining hands-on experience in maritime engineering communications.

Qualifications

• Strong written and spoken English.
• Interest in digital marketing, content creation and communication.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
• Basic understanding of website content management, email marketing, SEO or digital analytics.
• Basic graphic-design or visual-content skills.
• Interest in the maritime, engineering or business-to-business sector is beneficial, but previous marine-industry experience is not required.
• Confidence using Microsoft 365 applications, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Experience with Microsoft Copilot 365 is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation and publication of written and visual content for social media, presentations, brochures, articles, newsletters, website blogs, and other marketing activities.
• Support the social media content calendar and coordinate the publication of approved content.
• Assist in the preparation of internal communications and company news.
• Support the coordination of public relations, events, webinars, and other external communication activities.
• Coordinate inputs and approvals from internal stakeholders.
• Ensure that materials follow the company’s brand and communication guidelines.
• Monitor engagement and identify opportunities to improve future content
