Job summary

EY in Helsinki is strengthening its Transaction Law practice and invites a recent graduate or a lawyer with up to two years of relevant experience to join the team. You will work in a global, multidisciplinary environment, supporting a broad range of domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and gaining exposure to private and public deals.

Qualifications

• Finnish Master of Laws degree or equivalent qualification.
• Recent graduate or up to two years of relevant experience in transaction law.
• Fluency in Finnish and English.
• Commitment to high-quality work with strong attention to detail.
• Genuine interest in the business landscape.
• Strong analytical, legal research and written communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Interest in legal technology and AI-driven tools.

Responsibilities

• Support domestic and cross-border M&A transactions throughout the deal lifecycle with experienced transaction lawyers.
• Conduct and coordinate legal due diligence and analyze transaction-related risks.
• Draft, review and negotiate transaction documentation.
• Assist with transaction execution including signing, closing preparations, approvals and project management.
• Provide legal analyses to support client decision-making.
