Job summary

EY Finland in Helsinki seeks an early‑career competition law professional to join our Finnish law team. This permanent role offers the chance to build expertise in competition law within an international, multidisciplinary environment.

You will learn from experienced colleagues, work on Finnish and EU competition law matters and contribute to broader M&A assignments, with coaching and a supportive, low‑hierarchy culture. Fluent Finnish and English required.

Qualifications

• Finnish Master of Laws degree or equivalent qualification.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience from a law firm, in-house legal team, public authority or other legal role.
• Interest in competition law and motivation to develop expertise in the field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Finnish and EU competition law matters and FDI screening.
• Support merger control and FDI assessments and related filings.
• Draft memoranda, analyses and client materials; monitor regulatory developments.
