Job summary

Jobtailor in Espoo, Finland seeks a senior Licensing Counsel to lead and finalise NDAs and licensing agreements, working closely with the litigation team to shape strategy.

You will multitask across multiple IoT licensing engagements, apply strategic thinking to project design, influence business direction, and pursue opportunities in IoT IP licensing. Fluency in English and strong communication are essential.

Travel willingness required; Master of Laws degree mandatory; 6+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in patent licensing and IPR is essential.
• Master of Laws degree required.
• Proven track record in closing licensing deals.
• Strong negotiation, influencing and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage complex projects and deliver results on time.
• Willingness to travel.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the negotiation and finalization of NDAs and licensing agreements.
• Work with the litigation team to support litigation strategy and execution.
• Contribute to meeting the Licensing business goals and targets.
• Multitask across multiple licensing engagements and manage several license negotiations concurrently.
• Apply strategic thinking to IoT patent licensing projects and processes.
• Influence business strategy to address internal or external business and customer issues.
• Identify, develop, and execute patent licensing opportunities in the IoT domain.
