Job summary

Metso is seeking a Manager, Inventory Performance to enhance inventory management maturity and lead global performance across the CNS business area. You will develop policies, standards and analytics to translate data into actionable business actions.

You will be located in Tampere, Espoo, Sala, Oradea, Siauliai, Ankara or Centurion, with hybrid working options while valuing in-person collaboration and regular office presence.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Business or Industrial Engineering and Management.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory management (e.g. distribution centers, customer consignments, and own manufacturing).
• Strong mathematical, data analytics and AI aptitude.
• Proven ability to drive inventory-management initiatives and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of governance models, policies, and processes for inventory management.
• Identify and develop use of AI in inventory management.
• Plan and coordinate development initiatives (e.g., warehouse footprint changes).
• Drive and develop supply lane optimization.
• Maintain the Inventory Management roadmap.
• Participate in monthly SIOP governance.
• Execute inventory performance processes.
• Perform ad hoc data analyses and provide actionable business recommendations.
