Job summary

Stora Enso in Helsinki is seeking a Business Performance Analyst to turn data, analytics, AI and automation into tangible business value. The role sits at the intersection of finance, analytics and technology and reports to the Head of Controlling, BU Northern Europe, Packaging Solutions.

You will analyze data, support profitability decisions, and drive continuous improvement across functions by building dashboards and scalable analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• Background in finance, business, economics, engineering, analytics or related field.
• Experience in business analysis, finance, controlling, commercial analysis, performance management or analytics.
• Strong interest and experience in AI, automation, and modern technologies.
• Experience with Power BI, Excel, and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with SQL and Python is beneficial.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial and business data to identify trends, drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Support stakeholders with profitability analysis, scenario modelling and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities where AI and digital tools can improve efficiency and insight.
• Translate emerging technologies into practical business solutions.
• Collaborate with IT and data teams to improve datasets and reporting.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting capabilities.
• Ensure data quality and a single source of truth.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
