Job summary

Metso is seeking a Manager, Inventory Performance to strengthen the Consumables (CNS) Business Area. You will elevate inventory management maturity across CNS globally and translate data insights into actions with diverse stakeholders.

The role supports hybrid work with regular office presence and can be located in multiple global offices including Tampere and Espoo. You will lead governance, analytics and AI-enabled improvements within inventory management.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Business or Industrial Engineering and Management.
• 5+ years of inventory management experience in distribution centers, customer consignments or manufacturing.
• Excellent mathematical skills and analytical thinking.
• Strong data analytics capability with exposure to AI in inventory management.
• Proven track record in driving inventory initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of governance models, policies, processes and ways-of-working of inventory management
• Identify and further develop use of AI in inventory management
• Plan and/or coordinate development initiatives e.g. warehouse footprint changes
• Drive and further develop supply lane optimization
• Facilitate the maintenance of Inventory Management roadmap
• Participate in monthly SIOP governance
• Execute inventory performance processes
• Execute adHoc data analysis and provide actionable business recommendations
