Stora Enso seeks a Legal Counsel, Ethics & Compliance to join its Ethics and Compliance Team. You will serve as the dedicated E&C resource for one or several Business Areas, and contribute to group-level projects while supporting the Chief Compliance Officer.

Qualifications

• Finnish law degree or equivalent experience relevant to this position.
• At least five years of ethics and compliance experience in an international setting.
• Strong knowledge of competition law, anti-corruption, sanctions, data privacy and sustainability obligations.
• Understanding of Finnish and EU regulatory developments relevant to ethics and compliance.

Responsabilités

• Serve as dedicated E&C resource for assigned Business Area(s), providing legal support and investigations.
• Monitor regulatory developments in Finland and the EU (anti-corruption, sanctions, privacy, sustainability).
• Draft, update and implement E&C policies and guidelines across the organization.
• Develop and deliver E&C training and awareness initiatives (in person, online, e-learning).
• Collaborate with Group E&C team and support the Chief Compliance Officer on group-level projects.
