Stora Enso is seeking two Legal Trainees to join its Group Legal team in Helsinki for a 12-month fixed-term position. The first term starts January 2027 and the second in September 2027. The role is full-time with flexibility for lectures and exams as needed.

You will support legal counsels with research, drafting and reviewing agreements (including NDAs), and assist with compliance tasks and policy administration, gaining exposure to diverse areas of law in an international setting.

We are looking for two Legal Trainees to join Stora Enso for a 12-month fixed-term position. The first Legal Trainee term is scheduled to start in January 2027, and the second in September 2027. In your application, please indicate which term you are applying for or which term you would prefer. The position is full-time and based at Stora Enso’s headquarters in Katajanokka, Helsinki. Although this is a full-time role, there’s flexibility for you to attend lectures and exams when necessary.

In your day-to-day work, you will gain comprehensive insights into different areas of the legal function and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across Stora Enso. You will support legal counsels with a range of day-to-day tasks, including conducting legal research, preparing corporate documents (e.g., AGM materials), and drafting, negotiating, and reviewing agreements (e.g., non-disclosure agreements). You will also work on compliance matters, including policy administration and contributing to AI-related projects.

In this role, you will work directly with internal stakeholders and take ownership of assignments independently, with the support of your colleagues whenever needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a law student to broaden their knowledge and develop practical skills across different areas of law.
