Job summary

Cloetta is seeking an Integration Specialist to connect systems, streamline data flows, and support 300+ live integrations within a global IT team across Europe, including Turku, Malmö, and Breda.

You will develop new (EDI) integrations, collaborate with trading partners and internal stakeholders, and use modern platforms such as Azure Integration Services, APIs, and iPaaS in a hybrid work model that supports flexibility and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• Proven experience in a similar integration role.
• Strong communication skills in an international environment.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and problem solving.
• Fluent in English and one of Swedish, Dutch, or Finnish.
• Experience with Java, SQL, XML; knowledge of EDIFACT is a plus.
• Experience with Infor CloudSuite (ION Middleware), REST APIs, and iPaaS is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and optimize all integrations across Cloetta’s IT landscape.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration incidents.
• Develop integrations, including EDI, with trading partners.

What will you be contributing to?

As Integration Specialist, you will report to the Head of Business Analytics and Integration (BAI) and you will be a key member of the BAI team (8 colleagues), which is part of a global IT team with over 30 colleagues in our offices and factories across Europe. Your expertise will be instrumental in the day‑to‑day support and maintenance of over 300 live integrations. You will work with specialists from our trading partners and IT suppliers and will be part of a relevant contact network.

You will also be developing new (EDI) integrations, ensuring seamless data flows across internal and external platforms. You will participate in projects initiated by the business or by Global IT, always focusing on improving the ways of working and the end‑to‑end perspective.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and optimize all integrations across Cloetta’s IT landscape.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration incidents.
• Develop integrations, including EDI, between Cloetta and its trading partners.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business process specialists, key users, and IT teams.
• Work with modern integration platforms and tools as part of our continuous improvement efforts (e.g., Azure Integration Services, APIs, EDI).
• Serve Cloetta’s best interests when working and integrating with external companies and systems.

Competencies - What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Educated to Bachelor or Master’s degree level, preferably in IT, Computer Science, or another related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working in a collaborative, international environment.
• Analytical approach in problem‑solving, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and solution‑driven.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, and fluent in one of the following three languages, depending on office location: Swedish, Dutch, or Finnish.

In addition, you fulfill these requirements:

• Software development, preferably Java, SQL, and XML file format.
• Knowledge of EDIFACT is a plus.
• Experience from Infor CloudSuite (ION Middleware), system integration patterns, (REST) APIs and Cloud‑based integration / iPaaS is a BIG plus.
