Job description

Kotokunta is seeking an on-call instructor for a fixed-term position at the Kauhava Reception Centre. The role involves variable working hours ranging from 0 to 38.20 hours per week. The primary goal of the reception centre's guidance services is to comprehensively promote and support the physical, psychological, and social well-being of clients.

Key responsibilities include guiding, instructing, and advising clients on housing, Finnish culture, daily life, and studies. The role also involves tasks related to client accommodation, family work (defining support needs and implementing necessary support measures), and documenting client work. The position is primarily day work, with occasional on-call duties during evenings and weekends.

Applicants must hold a valid B-class driver's license. The employment terms follow the collective agreement for the private social services sector. A criminal record extract is required for the selected candidate.

Qualifications include a degree in social services (socionom), nursing, community pedagogy, or a relevant degree in social, health, educational, care, sports, teaching, cultural, or social fields. A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills are expected. Experience working with immigrants and the ability to handle challenging client situations constructively are highly valued.
