Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor/Manager for a 12-month contract in Finland. The role involves developing and implementing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance across multiple sites.

You will train teams, investigate incidents, and coordinate with regulators and clients to uphold safety standards. Ideal candidates hold a relevant degree, NEBOSH or equivalent certification, and proven construction sector experience, especially with HV substations

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH or equivalent).
• Experience in construction, ideally with HV substations or BESS projects.
• Strong IT skills and ability to use digital tools.
• Confident decision-maker, team player, and not afraid to stop work for safety concerns.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE policies and programs across sites.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and site inspections to identify hazards.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate HSE into planning and execution.
• Deliver training and guidance on safe work practices and PPE usage.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports with preventive recommendations.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and subcontractors on HSE matters.
• Monitor HSE performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
