As an HSE Supervisor, you will play a key role in promoting and maintaining a strong health, safety, and environmental culture on site. Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating, monitoring, and developing HSE activities throughout the project lifecycle
Ensuring compliance with local occupational health, safety, and environmental legislation and regulations
Planning and implementing HSE processes, including risk assessments, safety training, emergency preparedness, and safe working practices
Supporting project management and site personnel in all HSE-related matters
Conducting safety inspections, audits, and observations, and following up on corrective actions
Preparing HSE reports and communicating safety performance to project stakeholders
Promoting continuous improvement and a proactive safety culture across the organisation
Working closely with clients, contractors, and project teams to achieve project HSE objectives
To succeed in this role, you should have:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
Strong understanding of HSE legislation, standards, and best practices
Previous experience working in industrial project environments or construction sites
Experience in energy, power generation, pulp and paper, marine, or process industries
Experience with boiler plants or power plant projects is considered an advantage
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong leadership and organisational abilities
A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and resolve challenges proactively
A hands‑on attitude and willingness to take initiative
Professional working proficiency in English
