Job summary

European Investment Bank (EIB) seeks an Associate HR Systems Officer - Payroll & Absence Management for its HRIS team at the Luxembourg headquarters. The role combines maintenance of PeopleSoft HCM with transition support to Oracle Cloud HCM, focusing on Payroll and Absence Management modules.

You will collaborate across HR, GIS, and external vendors, managing releases, testing, documentation, and user support to achieve business benefits. Panel interviews anticipated Nov/Dec 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• 3+ years in HRIS implementation or administration.
• Solid knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM or PeopleSoft HCM.
• Experience with Payroll or Absence Management modules in HR processes.
• Strong SQL for data extraction and validation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment.
• Oracle Cloud HCM certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HR stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements for Oracle Cloud HCM and PeopleSoft HCM modules.
• Translate business needs into system configurations and functional specs.
• Identify process improvements and best practices; align with system capabilities.
• Develop and execute test plans for implementations, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Coordinate UAT with HR stakeholders; track and resolve issues.
• Validate system changes against business requirements prior to deployment.
• Serve as primary contact for complex functional issues in PeopleSoft HCM modules.
• Troubleshoot incidents, liaising with Oracle support as needed.
• Provide guidance to ensure effective use of PeopleSoft HCM and Oracle Cloud HCM.
