Job summary

Nortal is seeking a Head of Engagement Area in Helsinki, Turku or Oulu to lead a portfolio of customer engagements in the Public & Health sector. You will build cross-functional teams, set governance, and ensure profitability while delivering continuous value to customers.

You will manage a team of ~25, including engineers, architects and project managers, and collaborate across Nortal studios to scale engagements. Fluent Finnish and good English are required.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading customer engagements, ensuring profitability and growing accounts.
• Solid experience and existing network in the public sector, including procurement understanding.
• Fluent Finnish, required by customers, and good English.
• Enough understanding of software development and technology stacks to lead consultative solution sales.

Responsibilities

• Delivery: ensure customer value, P&L, risk, quality and timely delivery; participate in steering groups.
• Sales: generate demand, shape opportunities and bids; define service content and delivery models.
• Team management: ensure capacity to deliver through resourcing, onboarding and performance management.
• Business management: own monthly financial forecasting and leverage partner networks.
