Job summary

Veikkaus is seeking a Head of Analytics & Insights to join the Betting and iCasino Digital Channels leadership team in a permanent, full-time role. You will lead end-to-end analytics, personalization, and CX efforts across digital channels, guiding product, design, and business strategy.

You’ll manage a team, establish governance and budgeting, and champion experimentation to drive responsible growth and innovation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leadership experience in large-scale consumer-facing organizations.
• 8+ years in analytics, insights, UX research, or CX research roles
• Strong quantitative and qualitative research, digital analytics, and CX strategy.
• High governance experience and ability to scale insights functions.
• Experience across digital channels including native iOS/Android apps, mobile web, and desktop.
• Proven iGaming industry experience is highly valued
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, HCI, or related field.

• Lead Digital Analytics, Personalization, Automation & Reporting, UX Research, and CX Analysis across digital channels.
• Oversee team operations, governance, and budgeting, and develop frameworks for efficient resource allocation, prioritization, and measurable business impact.
• Lead and develop a team of professionals, fostering collaboration, growth, and high performance.
• Ensure insights are timely, accessible, and aligned with Best-in-Class iGaming standards across the product lifecycle.
• Work with the central data team to ensure end-to-end delivery of data and analytics needs by the business.
• Ensure clear gathering, documentation, and communication of KPIs, performance metrics, and personalization requirements.
• Shape the vision for iGaming analytics and insights, advancing reporting and automation capabilities.
• Establish experimentation frameworks and a culture of learning and evidence-based decision-making.

We’re looking for a Head of Analytics & Insights to join our Betting and iCasino Digital Channels leadership team and elevate data-driven decision-making across our digital ecosystem. In this role, you’ll lead the integration of end-to-end experience, behavioral, and digital performance insights to deliver deep, actionable intelligence that shapes product, design, and business strategy across our digital channels. You’ll inspire and empower a team of professionals, fostering a culture of experimentation, evidence-based decision-making, and continuous learning — ensuring every player experience is insight-driven, discoverable, and aligned with Best-in-Class iGaming standards, while driving responsible growth and innovation.

This position is permanent and full-time. Our headquarters are located in Helsinki, Finland but the position can be located in Helsinki, Sweden or Malta. We work flexibly in a hybrid model.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the integration of end-to-end experience, digital, and behavioral performance insights to inform product, design, and business decisions across digital channels.

• Work closely with the central data team to ensure the end to end delivery of data and analytics need by the business.
• Ensure clear gathering, documentation, and communication of KPIs, performance metrics, and personalization requirements.
• Shape the vision for iGaming analytics and insights, advancing reporting and automation capabilities to improve efficiency and support timely, evidence-based business decisions.
• Establish experimentation frameworks and a culture of learning and evidence-based decision-making to drive faster, validated iterations.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5+ years leadership experience in large-scale consumer-facing organizations.
• 8+ years in analytics, insights, UX research, or CX research roles
• Skilled in quantitative and qualitative research, digital analytics, and CX strategy.
• Strong operational governance experience and ability to scale insights functions.
• Highly experienced in working across digital channels, including native iOS and Android apps, mobile web, and desktop.
• Proven experience in the iGaming industry is highly valued
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, HCI, or related field.
