Job summary

Veikkaus Oy in Helsinki is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape end-to-end product experiences for the next era of gaming. The role is permanent and full-time, located at Pohjois-Haaga with a hybrid model (three on-site days per week) and the possibility to work from Sweden or Malta.

You will lead design from discovery to delivery, craft user flows, prototypes and high‑fidelity UI, create design documentation, and mentor teammates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product or UX design for consumer digital products.
• Experience shipping native mobile and responsive web experiences.
• Strong skills in UX, interaction and UI design, and design systems.

We're building the future of digital gaming experiences in a rapidly evolving market and we're looking for a Senior Product Designer to shape seamless, engaging experiences for the next era of gaming

About the role

This hands on -role is about shaping the product experience end to end - from concepts, flows, interaction patterns to polished UI and the details that give the product its quality in use. You'll collaborate closely with product designers, researchers, product owners and developers to shape solutions that connect customer needs with business goals in a clear and meaningful way. The position is permanent and full-time.

The position is located at Veikkaus' headquarters in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki. We work flexibly in a hybrid model with three on-site days per week. The role can also be located in Sweden or Malta.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design of key features, from discovery to delivery
• Create user flows, concepts, prototypes, high-fidelity UI and design documentation
• Use research, data and experimentation to inform design decisions
• Facilitate workshops, support alignment, and help elevate design quality across the team

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in product or UX design, with a proven track record in consumer digital products
• Experience designing and shipping native mobile and responsive web experiences, with a strong app-first mindset
• Strong skills in UX, interaction design, UI design, and design systems
• Ability to use research, customer insight, data, and analytics to inform design decisions and improve outcomes
• Clear communicator who can explain design thinking, align stakeholders, and work effectively with feedback
• Experience mentoring others and contributing to a strong design culture
• Proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, libraries, collaboration practices and AI-supported workflows
• Experience designing for iOS, Android, and responsive web with a solid understanding of platform conventions
• Experience in the international iGaming industry is highly valued
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field
