Orien Trade Group is seeking a GTM Director to build and lead a new go-to-market function across Europe, with focus on Germany and the UK. The role reports to the CEO and involves shaping strategic priorities, establishing processes, and recruiting an international team.
You will define pan-European GTM strategies, pricing, and trade investment, partner with Sales and Marketing, and drive growth across multiple markets while operating in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Orien Trade Group is one of Europe's leading distributors of Asian beauty products. Since 2014, we have built a pan-European platform that connects Asian consumer brands with leading retailers and consumers across Europe. We provide end-to-end market entry and growth support, including product registration, localization, marketing, wholesale distribution, and logistics. Our ambition is to become Europe's most trusted consumer product distribution partner. We combine strong brand understanding, local market expertise, and reliable execution to help our partners grow sustainably across multiple European markets. With 10 European branches and local sales and marketing teams across key markets, we are able to support brands with both regional scale and local execution. www.orientrade.com
As part of our next growth phase, we are creating a completely new Go-to-Market (GTM) function and are looking for a GTM Director to build and lead it. This is a unique opportunity to establish a new commercial function from the ground up, shape strategic priorities across Europe, and build a high-performing international team. While the role carries responsibility for Orien Trade's priority brand portfolio across Europe, a strong understanding of the European beauty market is particularly important, as Germany and UK are one of our key growth markets and a strategic priority for the business. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will define how we bring brands to market, establish our advisory approach towards brand partners, and create the frameworks, processes, and capabilities that enable the business to scale. Operating at the intersection of strategy and execution, you will initially build the function yourself and recruit and lead an international GTM team across Europe. Over time, the team is expected to grow to approximately 10-15 professionals, making this an exceptional opportunity to shape both the organisation and the future growth of the business.
We are looking for a commercially driven leader who combines strategic thinking with deep beauty industry expertise and a proven track record of growing brands across European markets. You bring several years of experience in senior commercial roles, ideally as a Brand Director, General Manager, Commercial Director, or in a comparable brand-side leadership position. We also welcome candidates with a strong background in strategy consulting focused on beauty, cosmetics, K-beauty, FMCG or wider consumer goods sector. You have a strong understanding of German/UK and European beauty markets and commercial ecosystems, experience working with international stakeholders and distributed teams, and a demonstrated ability to drive growth across multiple countries. Beyond your commercial capabilities, you thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities evolve quickly, are comfortable making decisions with imperfect information, and enjoy creating structure where it does not yet exist. Experience building new teams, functions or business capabilities is a significant advantage, as this role offers a unique opportunity to establish and shape a new GTM function while making a lasting impact on a rapidly growing international business.
This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a completely new GTM function in one of Europe's fastest-growing beauty companies. You will shape commercial strategy, recruit your own international team, and work directly with senior leadership to drive growth across Europe. If you are looking for a role with real ownership, international exposure, and the chance to make a visible impact, Orien Trade offers an exceptional platform for your next career move.
This position is based in Germany or London, UK, and follows a hybrid working model. Regular travel across Europe and to Asia is expected.
