Valmet seeks a Manager, Group Control to own management reporting and annual planning for the Group. The role emphasizes reliable reporting, AI-enhanced processes, and collaboration with finance teams across businesses, countries and functions in Espoo, Finland.

The position is a fixed-term maternity-cover project with a strong emphasis on IFRS-based reporting, data governance, and cross-functional leadership in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Holds an M.Sc. degree in Accounting, Finance, or another relevant field.
• Several years of experience in group reporting, consolidation, controlling, or FP&A within an international organization.
• Strong understanding of management reporting and IFRS-based group reporting.
• Able to lead processes and collaborate with stakeholders across boundaries.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Group management-reporting process, including the calendar, close, validation and quality controls.
• Own and coordinate the annual planning process, including planning calendar, instructions, control gates and group validation.
• Manage Group estimate submission process and Group-level validation; govern finance master data (cost centers, overhead structures, hierarchies).
• Partner with Finance Development to identify AI-enabled improvements to reporting and planning controls and support implementation.
• Collaborate to define reporting requirements for Oracle HFM and planning for Anaplan; ensure AI-enabled forecasting reflects requirements.
