Job summary

UPM - The Biofore Company is seeking a Senior Manager to join Group Accounting and Reporting in Helsinki or Tampere, Finland. You will drive the group consolidation, oversee reporting processes, and guide accounting policy across the organization, ensuring high-quality financial statements and compliance with IFRS and Finnish GAAP.

You will lead cross-functional projects, manage consolidation systems, and collaborate with Finance teams globally.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in accounting, finance or economics.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in group consolidation and IFRS, or related accounting areas.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and Finnish GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the group consolidation and reporting process and prepare consolidated financial statements and reports.
• Address IFRS-related ad-hoc requests and guide Financial Control teams in accounting topics.
• Interpret and apply IFRS and Finnish GAAP; update accounting policies and group manual.
