Job summary

ICEYE is seeking an IT Systems Lead to head a team of engineers across Finland and Poland, delivering a secure, scalable client platform, AI systems, and identity management. The role combines strategic direction with hands-on leadership in a security‑driven, hybrid Espoo environment.

You will consolidate a fast‑growing toolset, maintain strong incident management and drive audits, partnering with stakeholders and IT teams to align priorities with compliance and growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading an IT systems or infrastructure team with hands-on technical experience.
• Deep expertise in at least one major collaboration suite (Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace) and tools such as Slack and Atlassian.
• Strong experience with identity and access management (e.g. Okta, Entra ID) and endpoint management.
• Experience leading distributed, multi-country teams and managing vendors and budgets.
• Experience using AI tools in operations and automation, and assessing AI-related systems needs.
• A proactive, pragmatic decision-maker who finds simple solutions to complex problems, even with incomplete information.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a high-level national security clearance in Finland.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive systems strategy and roadmap for client platforms, AI, collaboration, identity management.
• Consolidate toolset into a standardised, secure, scalable platform.
• Maintain security, align with best practices; adapt systems to business needs.
• Manage incidents, escalations, monitoring and SLAs.
• Embed business continuity, patching and logging in system design.
• Support security audits, accreditations and certifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to balance priorities and compliance.
• Own the IT systems budget and manage vendors and consultants.
