Qualifications

• Several years of experience in corporate communications, PR or media relations.
• Experience from a global or international organization is a plus.
• Fluency in Finnish and English is essential.
• Comfort with using AI tools as part of normal workflows.

Responsibilities

• Set the direction for Vaisala's external communications and report on impact across media and thought leadership.
• Lead corporate PR and media relations, including proactive pitching and reactive handling.
• Advise and coach executives and spokespersons on external messaging.
• Own Vaisala's company-level social media strategy and execution.
• Monitor media and social coverage and translate findings into recommendations.
• Lead and execute selected corporate-level communications projects.
