Helvar in Finland is seeking a senior Communications Lead to own internal and external communications, shaping messaging and brand voice across the business and externally.

You will manage PR, corporate comms, employer branding, and the communications calendar, ensuring consistency and alignment with leadership strategy. The role requires fluency in Finnish and English, Swedish is a plus, and a hybrid setup with three days per week in Espoo.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Finnish and English is essential.
• Swedish fluency is highly desired.

• Exceptional copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in Espoo HQ.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated external communications, aligning campaigns and priorities.
• Write and distribute press releases; manage media inquiries.
• Coordinate communications for global partner network with consistency.
• Develop a universal communications framework for tone, voice and formatting.
• Govern AI-driven communications tools to align with brand standards.
• Oversee shared communications hubs and support timely responses.
• Collaborate with global marketing to integrate comms in launches and campaigns.
• Partner with HR on employer branding and internal comms strategy.
• Support leadership communications and company announcements.
• Manage internal newsletters, intranet, and pulse surveys.
