Job summary

Normet is seeking an Engineering Change Coordinator based in Iisalmi, Finland, with 3–5 years of experience coordinating changes in a manufacturing environment. You will drive BOM changes to production, align timing with lead times, and collaborate with global teams across Sourcing, Production, and Service.

The role supports the Equipment Engineering team and Product Line Management, reporting to the Director of Global Engineering and Prototype Production.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in engineering changes in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of production build phases, inventory/material availability and supplier lead times.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain/Sourcing and Service/Aftermarket.
• Fluent English and Finnish (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and drive item changes from engineering BOM to the production floor.
• Assess and manage change implementation considering machines under build, items in storage, and impact on service/spare parts.
• Plan and align change timing with new item lead times, supplier availability and production schedule.
• Work with Sourcing to identify obsolete components and trigger needed changes.
• Own and improve engineering change processes, documentation, and governance.
• Coordinate changes across global sites and teams for timing and implementation.
• Maintain clear change communication with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain and Service.
