Job summary

Normet Oy seeks an Engineering Change Coordinator to drive and control engineering changes from BOM to the production floor. You will work with the Equipment Engineering team and Product Line Management, coordinating with Sourcing, suppliers, Production, Quality and Service globally.

The role is based in Iisalmi, Finland, with a hybrid setup requiring 2–3 days on site initially. You will report to the Director, Global Engineering and Prototype Production, and lead change governance, timing, and

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in engineering changes in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent in English and Finnish; strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering change activity from BOM to production floor.
• Assess change implementation impact on builds, storage, and service parts.
• Plan change timing with item lead times, supplier availability, and production schedule.
• Collaborate with Sourcing to identify obsolescence and trigger change actions early.
• Own and improve change management processes, documentation, and governance.
• Coordinate with global teams to align changes across sites and communicate status clearly to Engineering, Production, Supply Chain and Service.
