Job summary

Neste in Porvoo is seeking a Functional Safety Specialist to lead the automation design team through studies, basic engineering to commissioning. Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in process automation engineering.
• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in automation engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of SIS automation systems and functional design.
• Experience in functional safety lifecycle engineering and standards.
• Functional Safety certification.
• Self-initiative and solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk analysis, determine SRS and SIL.
• Conduct SIL verification.
• Design functional safety components and SIFs.
• Perform functional safety assessments.

Functional Safety Specialist

to join our Automation team.

As our Functional Safety Specialist, you will have a key role in automation engineering. You'll leverage your expertise to guide and mentor the automation design team, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and across various engineering disciplines, from initial studies and basic engineering to detailed design, implementation, and commissioning. The position will be located in Kilpilahti, Porvoo. We provide a free commuter bus service from Helsinki and nearby regions to Kilpilahti. Partial remote work or working at our remote working office in Espoo are also possible.
