Job summary

Neste (Neste, Nasdaq Helsinki) is the world's leading producer of renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel, enabling customers to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. In Espoo, Finland, we are seeking a Supply Chain Planner to optimize and steer one of our supply chains.

You will plan production and blending with stakeholders, act as the information focal point, collaborate across teams and guide business decisions to maximize product portfolio value, reporting to the Director, Supply

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Min 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, scheduling or oil refining industry.
  • Knowledge about oil and gas product properties.

Responsibilities

  • Planning production and blending together with stakeholders and team.
  • Act as focal point of the information and communication regarding the supply chain topics.
  • Collaborating widely within internally and externally with the various stakeholder groups.
  • Steer business decisions and optimize product portfolio value in the business horizon.

Your role in our team

In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing and steering one of the supply chains.

Your main responsibilities include:
  • Planning production and blending together with stakeholders and team
  • Act as focal point of the information and communication regarding the supply chain topics
  • Collaborating widely within internally and externally with the various stakeholder groups
  • Steer business decisions and optimize product portfolio value in the business horizon

You will work closely with other supply chains, refinery scheduling, commercial operations and trading. We offer a position with an overall view to the business from supply and sales to production. You will report to the Director, Supply Chain Steering, based in Espoo.

The best combination to succeed in this role
The best combination of experiences, skills and background is
  • Bachelor or master’s level degree in a relevant field
  • Min 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, scheduling or oil refining industry
  • Knowledge about oil and gas product properties
  • Passion for understanding the earnings logic of oil refining business
  • Good written and verbal English skills, Finnish is an advantage.
  • Willingness and creativity to develop new ways of working.
  • IT knowledge in common office tools
  • Skills in team work, problem solving and decision making
