Job summary

Neste in Espoo, Finland seeks an IT Solution Manager, Finance Solutions to lead SAP-based Finance IT delivery, roadmapping, development and maintenance. You will work closely with Finance, Integrated ERP, Architects, Cybersecurity, Solution Management and external partners to deliver impactful IT solutions.

You will report to the IT Solution’s Team Manager and help identify new business value opportunities while ensuring compliance and efficient operation of the financial IT landscape.

Qualifications

• Several years of proven experience in project management, IT development, IT solution maintenance and continuous improvement
• Experience with partner cooperation and change management
• Knowledge in SAP Finance and related modules

Responsibilities

• Finance IT solutions delivery including planning, roadmapping, development, maintenance and continuous efficiency improvement
• Ensure that the solution brings value to business and promotes user satisfaction
• Lead the IT partner ecosystem and drive partner success with good collaboration
• Ensure compliance regarding licenses, audits, security and other compliance items
• Lead projects preparation and support Project Manager in gate approvals
• Ensure operational readiness of the IT solution post-deployment
• Facilitate IT solution related IT decisions in a timely manner
• Participate in Major Incidents & Crisis Management and act as escalation point
• Ensure that ITSM processes are followed for their respective IT Solution
• Responsible for IT solution cost management and optimization

We are looking for you IT Solution Manager, Finance Solutions to join our Functions Solutions IT team in Espoo. In this role, you will take the lead in providing efficient IT solutions with SAP as a core for the Finance teams at Neste. You will be responsible for solution development initiatives & maintenance activities. Together with the key stakeholders & external partners you will be identifying new business value opportunities in your area of responsibility. You will work closely with stakeholders in Finance, Integrated ERP, Architects, Cybersecurity, Solution Management community, SAP ERP Platforms team, IT Continuity managers & 3rd party vendors to ensure successful delivery for IT solutions under your responsibility. You will report to the IT Solution’s Team Manager. Together with your expertise, we can do meaningful work to drive Neste forward.

Your role in our team

Finance IT solutions (with SAP as a core) delivery and success incl. planning, roadmapping, development, maintenance & continuous efficiency improvement

Ensure that the solution brings value to business and promotes user satisfaction

Lead the IT partner ecosystem and drive partner success with good collaboration

Good understanding of finance business processes implemented in SAP system

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good understanding of financial controlling & accounting

Multi-stakeholder communication and alignment

Ability to perform well under pressure

Working knowledge of other financial systems like Hyperion, (HFM and Planning), Blackline will be an added advantage
