Job summary

Eficode is seeking a hands-on Chief Accountant to cover full-cycle operational accounting for Eficode Finland Oy during an 18‑month parental leave. You will lead general ledger work, month-end closings, tax filings, and financial statements, collaborating with international finance colleagues.

You will be part of the local finance team, report to the Head of Finance, and enable process improvements in a dynamic scale‑up environment with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience with full-cycle accounting and month-end closes.
• Deep knowledge of Finnish GAAP and accounting act.
• Experience in a Group setting is beneficial.
• Fluent in Finnish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger operations and journal entries for Eficode Oy.
• Lead month-end closes and ensure accurate financial reporting under FAS.
• Prepare corporate tax returns, VAT reports, and statutory filings.
