Job summary

Mehiläinen in Helsinki seeks a Development and Project Manager, Finance, to drive group-wide finance system development and automation. You will bridge accounting, business stakeholders and IT to deliver scalable solutions across countries.

You will lead AI-driven initiatives in finance, manage D365 F&O and API/integration projects, and own the development portfolio with measurable benefits such as time savings and data quality. Hybrid work is possible.

Qualifications

• Experience leading development initiatives or projects.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and internal controls.
• Proven AI-driven finance solutions experience.
• Hands-on finance system development; automation, integrations, data analytics and AI.
• Experience with finance systems such as D365 F&O and Rillion Prime.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Fluent English; Finnish an advantage.
• Higher education in Economics/Business Administration.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage global enterprise transformation programs involving D365 F&O and multi-vendor environments.
• Lead finance system development, API and integration projects from requirements to implementation.
• Drive process automation using Power Platform, UiPath StudioX and similar tools.
• Design and implement AI-driven finance solutions, including AI agents in D365.
• Act as AI Product Owner for finance, prioritizing key development initiatives.
• Improve efficiency of accounts payable/receivable and finance support processes.
• Support adoption of new tools and processes across countries.
• Roll out finance system/process improvements in acquired companies.
