Job summary

ThunderSoft India Private Limited is seeking a Mobile Test Engineer with 4-6 years of experience to join our team in Helsinki. The role focuses on 4G/5G testing, live network verification, and hands-on chipset testing across OEMs.

You will analyze logs with tools like Wireshark, QXDM, QCAT, and QSPT, perform UE log analysis, and contribute to CR verification for reported defects. Experience on customer premises is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in mobile test engineering.
• Strong knowledge of 4G/5G/LTE/WCDMA/CDMA and IMS technology.
• Experience with live network testing.
• Hands-on testing of chipsets (Qualcomm, MediaTek, Inte).
• Experience with debugging/log analysis tools: Wireshark, QXDM, QCAT, ELT STT.
• Initial UE log analysis and log tracing tools (QXDM, QSPT, STT, Mobile analyzer, MediaTek Catcher).
• Feature release testing for new features.
• Strong knowledge of 3GPP specifications.
• Reproducing customer/field issues and CR verification.
• Daily discussion of verification status and issues.
• Follow up on defects to closure.
• Customer premises work is preferred.

Job description

• Mobile Test Engineer with 4-6 Years’ experience.
• Good understanding of understanding of 4g/5G/LTE/WCDMA/CDMA, IMS technology
• Expertise in Field/Drive testing, protocol testing for different OEM / Customers .
• Having extremely good understanding of Verification of 4G+5G technologies.
• Must have worked on Live Network.
• Hands on experience of testing various chipsets like Qualcomm, Mediatek , Inte etc.
• Exposure to debugging/ Log Analysis tools like Wireshark, QXDM , QCAT , ELT STT etc .
• Should know initial UE log analysis, good experience on log tracing tools such as QXDM/QSPT, STT, Mobile analyzer, Mediatek Catcher tool
• Feature Release Testing for new features
• Very good knowledge on 3gpp specifications.
• Customer issues and field issues reproduction and CR verification for committed bugs
• Discussion of verification status and issues reported every day
• Following up on the defects raised by self and team and take it to closure once committed.
• Work experience on customer premises is preferred
