Job summary

EDAG is seeking a Connectivity Validation Engineer to validate and test bundled connectivity features, including modem functionality and SIM management, ensuring robust communication in connected vehicle services.

You will analyze test results, identify issues, and support troubleshooting to meet quality requirements. Experience with LTE/5G, CAN buses, Broad-R-Reach and serial communications, plus advanced English (German desirable), completes your profile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic, Automotive Mechanics, Electrical Engineering or related.
• Over 1 year of experience in the automotive industry.
• Basic knowledge of LTE, 5G (NSA/SA).
• Prior modem testing experience and ticket-tracking familiarity.
• Experience with CAN Buses, Broad-R-Reach, and Serial Communications.
• Advanced English; German language is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performed validation and testing of bundled connectivity features, including modem functionality and SIM management.
• Validated PEC functionality, ensuring reliable communication and data transmission.
• Conducted Breakdown Call testing to verify roadside connectivity and service availability.
• Executed connectivity localization and validation activities for the Mexican market using the network.
• Analyzed test results, identified issues, and supported troubleshooting to ensure quality requirements.
• Verified end-to-end performance of connected vehicle services under different network and operational conditions.

• Conducted Breakdown Call (BDC) testing to verify roadside assistance connectivity and service availability.
• Executed connectivity localization and validation activities for the Mexican market using the network.
• Analyzed test results, identified issues, and supported troubleshooting activities to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Verified end-to-end performance of connected vehicle services under different network and operational conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor´s Degree in Mechatronic, Automotive Mechanics, ElectricalEngineering or related.

• Over 1 year of experience in the automotive industry

• Basic knowledge of LTE, 5G(NSA), 5G(SA).

• Prior experience with modem testing.
  Experience with ticket tracking systems

• Experience with CAN Buses, Broad-R-Reach, and Serial Communications

• Advance English

• German(desirable)
