Job summary

Hilti Finland is seeking a Field Engineer to develop long-term relationships with key accounts and to drive sales of technical solutions and services on large projects in Northern Finland. The role blends technical depth with commercial acumen and supports the region including Northern Ostrobothnia, Kainuu, and Lapland, with preferred base in Oulu.

You will work with local sales teams, manage customer relationships across multinational clients, promote BIM-enabled digitalization and service

• Relevant technical or commercial education (B.Sc or M.Sc).
• Fluent Finnish and English (written and spoken).
• Experience selling technical products and solutions with proven track record.
• Ability to manage large entities and multicultural clients and develop long-term customer relationships.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales through named key projects and development of customer relationships.
• Drive close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with modular support systems and solutions for HVAC, modular secondary steel structures, passive fire protection and anchoring technology.
• Drive digitalization, BIM and service offerings for large and complex projects.
• Proactive collaboration with customers to understand and solve their business needs.

What You'll Do

As a Field Engineer, you are part of the engineering team. You’ll get to work with the largest and mid-size accounts regionally in close cooperation with local sales team. Your primary area of responsibility is to increase sales through named key projects, development of customer relationships and to drive close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.

We want to be a best partner for our customers, and you are in a key role to drive productivity in the construction processes through our technical product and service offering. In the role you work closely with our customers and offer and develop solutions to support their business and large construction projects. You’ll get to work with our modular support systems and solutions for HVAC, modular secondary steel structures, passive fire protection and anchoring technology. You are also in the key role to drive digitalization, BIM and our service offering when it comes to large and complex technical solutions and projects.

We are looking for a pro-active person who has good interaction and good problem-solving skills. Experience from construction industry, project management and development of customer relationships is an advantage to be successful in the role.

What You’ll Bring

• Relevant technical or commercial education for the position (B.Sc or M.Sc)
• Fluent written and spoken in Finnish and English
• Experience in selling technical products and solutions with proven track record
• Ability to manage and understand large entities and multicultural clients and develop long-term customer relationships with them
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship building skills across all levels and functions both internally and externally
• Relevant work experience from project management or construction is an advantage.
