Job summary

Hitachi Energy Finland Oy, located in Vaasa, Finland, is seeking a Factory Training & Development Specialist to design and deliver innovative training programs for the Transformers Factory. You will drive the training roadmap, coordinate ON-THE-JOB training, manage LMS records, and collaborate with SMEs to ensure compliant, high-quality learning experiences.

The role requires clear communication, cross-functional teamwork, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A B.Sc., M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, HR, Education, Business Administration or another relevant field.
• Experience in training coordination and production training.
• Experience with LMS administration and training data management.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerBI for reporting.
• Fluency in Finnish and English, written and spoken.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Drive factory training activities per the training roadmap and production needs.
• Lead Structured-On-The-Job training for direct workforce with schedules and trainers.
• Maintain training records, certifications and LMS documentation.
• Prepare training status reports and dashboards for follow-up decisions.
• Develop training materials with SMEs and update work instructions.
• Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement of training processes.
